Shelby Hailstone Law grew up in Georgia, first in Lawrenceville and then in Acworth. She briefly lived in the Rockies during college, found her sweetheart, and immediately moved back to the South. Now, she enjoys taking her two kids to library storytime, to the zoo, to museums, and to other places of wonder so that they can also fall in love with the world the way she has. She writes YA fantasy but is known to dabble in other genres to stretch her creative wings.
