Albalis Smith, a.k.a. Lirio Blanco Show is an architect, visual artist, and playwright from Panama. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture from Universidad Autonoma de Centroamerica in San Jose, Costa Rica. In addition, she received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts at Auburn University, Montgomery, AL. She has twenty – five years of experience in architecture, having worked in Montgomery, Alabama, the Atlanta and Miami areas.She served for five years as volunteer theatrical assistant director for the senior citizens program at the Universidad de Costa Rica, and for one year as theatrical director for El Rosario High School, both, in San Jose, Costa Rica. She has done theatrical scene and set design for Auburn University in Montgomery, AL, and the Lionheart Theatre Company in Norcross, GA.In 2020, she decided to finish a series of back burner short stories and theatrical plays, which are presented in “The Moldy Orange Bandage,” her first book published on October 2021. On May 15th, 2025, she launched her second playwright book “Villains Road Crew” which includes two theatrical plays targeting the adult audience.Albalis lives in Johns Creek, Georgia, with her daughter, husband, her dog, Toni, and their precious bird Ruperta.
