Michael R Emmert, after graduating from McPherson College, spent fifteen years as a missionary and writing newsletters from far-off places like Tanzania, Swaziland, and Zululand. During this time, he shifted his writing talents to write Christian love stories for readers’ entertainment. He’s been a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), East of the Web’s (EOTW) Uncut writing group, and now The Writer’s View (TWV) as a panelist. When not writing, Michael lives in the greater Atlanta area with his wife, daughter, and seven grandkids. His better half strives to keep him on the straight-and-narrow (without success). Fueled by popcorn, he writes well-loved relationship stories. His current novels include “Shunning Ida Mae,” “Gifted Heart,” “Deception and Depravity,” “Three Strikes,” “Wounded Heart,” and “Inherited Wife,” One thing remains the same: Love always wins out. Just ask his family and his sleepy desk cat.
