Shanti Krishnamurty grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California. Her formative years were spent at her local library, reading such classic fantasy as L. Frank Baum’s Oz series, as well as The Arabian Nights, and the original Grimm fairy tales. It was then that her love of all things fantastic and mythological was born.
Shanti earned her bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022. She lives in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with her very tolerant and supportive husband and a rather large Great Dane named Raven. When she’s not gardening, or doing something crafty, she’s writing paranormal novels or binge-watching stuff on various streaming platforms.
Shanti tends to write clean fiction – no sex, no rated ‘R’ violence, and very little ‘language’. Her novels are less focused on ‘adult’ themes and more on her main characters finding their strength and place of belonging in a world that’s usually ‘weird’. She is currently hard at work on her third novel in her young adult paranormal ‘To Half and Half-Not’ series.
